What is Yukon?

The Yukon is a province located in the northwest corner of Canada. There are approximately 40,000 people who are mainly in the capital "Whitehorse" and the language most spoken by these inhabitants is English.

The Yukon is a zen place with vegetation and lots of mountains. Most of the Yukon has a subarctic climate, characterized by long, cold winters and short, hot summers.

Mount Logan is the largest mountain in Yukon. With an elevation of 5,959m, it is also the highest point in Canada

History of Yukon

The Yukon was discovered on August 17, 1896 by George Carmack, Kate Carmack, Skookum Jim and Dawson Charlie. It was created to respond to population growth during the Klondike Gold Rush.
