Modelo Atómico Dalton

John Dalton's atomic model, proposed in the early 19th century, suggested that all matter is composed of indivisible particles called atoms. According to Dalton, atoms of a particular element are identical in size, mass, and properties, while atoms of different elements vary in these characteristics. He also introduced the concept of chemical compounds being formed by the combination of atoms in simple whole-number ratios. This model laid the foundation for modern atomic theory and our understanding of the structure of matter.

MODELO ATOMICO DE THOMSON.

The Thomson atomic model, proposed by J.J. Thomson in the late 19th century, depicted atoms as tiny, positively charged spheres with negatively charged electrons embedded throughout like plums in a pudding. This model was often referred to as the "plum pudding model" and laid the foundation for our understanding of atomic structure before further advancements in atomic theory.

MODELO ATOMICO DE RUTHERFORD

The Rutherford atomic model, developed by Ernest Rutherford in the early 20th century, introduced the idea that atoms have a small, dense, positively charged nucleus at their center, surrounded by orbiting negatively charged electrons. This model replaced J.J. Thomson's "plum pudding model" and provided a more accurate representation of atomic structure, highlighting the nucleus as the core of the atom where most of its mass is concentrated.

MODELO ATÓMICO DE BOHR.

The Bohr atomic model, introduced by Niels Bohr in 1913, proposed that electrons orbit the nucleus of an atom in discrete energy levels or orbits. These energy levels are quantized, meaning electrons can only exist in specific orbits with well-defined energy values. Electrons can transition between these energy levels by absorbing or emitting energy in the form of photons. Bohr's model was instrumental in explaining the spectral lines of elements and contributed to our understanding of atomic structure and the behavior of electrons in atoms.
