The average number of students assigned to one access coordinator at the McBurney Center

Students reciveing disability accomodations at UW Madison are each assigned an access coordinator. This person is supposed to repsond to each students individual needs and guide them through the process of recieving accomodations. Due to understaffing the ratios of stduents to coordinators are very high.

The UW System tracks disbaility accomodations by category, these include, ADHD/ADD, Autism Spectrum, Brain Injury, Health Condition, Hearing, Learning, Mobility, Psycological, Temporary and Vision.

Psycological disabilities can include mental ilnesses like depression, Anxiety, OCD and PTSD.

The Acessibilty Office at UW-Madison provides a guide of accesible buildings and there entrances. There current list of builings has 188 entires. In total, UW-Madison has 388 buildings on it's campus, meaning the majority of these are inacessable for physically disabled students.
