ALCOHOL EFFECTS:
- Interfere's with the brains communication pathways
- Can cause cardiomyopathy which streches and droops the heart muscle
- It slows down the Immune system making white blood cells less efficient.
- Inhibnits new bone production in the Skeletal system. Risk of osteoporosis
- Causes pancreas to produce toxic substances
- It can cause ED in men and infertility in womens reproductive system.
- Can cause a Steatosis or a fatty liver
- Increased risks of certain types of cancer including: Head and neck (Oral cavity, Pharynx and Larynx ), liver cancer, colorecrtal cancer.
- It inhibits speaking, affects impulse contol, causes temporary paralysis, and other changes in the CNS
- Serious damge can occur in the digestive system. Making it difficult to control bacteria and absorb nutrients.
