Los Angeles covers an amzingly large area and due to the city's size Angelenos move around by car so they create a lot of smog. Los Angeles is the most polluted city in America because it rains very little there isn't wind so the smog increases
Earthquakes
Los Angeles is built on several fault lines like the San Andreas Fault and others which cause aboute 10,000 earthquakes every year. The most recent were the Whittier Narrows in 1987 and the Northridge in 1994
