Solutions

Everyday activities impact ecosystems. Humans rely on ecosystems for various services, such as food, water, and materials. Finding solutions to address concerns related to human impacts on the environment helps to conserve and protect these areas for future generations. In today's activity, we will share our solutions from Day 1 of the project to address the ecosystem concern you chose (habitat loss, pollution, or invasive species).

Sketchpad Requirements

The sketchpad can be filled out using the writing tool or text tool. To complete this, you should:

• Draw a picture to represent your solution
• Write or draw a few tips and details about what your solution is and how it would help others

Gathering Info

Before we can find a solution, we first need to choose a problem and understand how it is impacting the ecosystem. Hover over the "info" to learn more about each problem. Then choose one, record it in edio, and click the picture. That will take you to a page all about that problem! Use each resource to learn about the problem, how it affects ecosystems, and what humans can do to help our local environments!

Poster Requirements

The poster can be made on paper, in PowerPoint, or in the sketchpad below. Your poster must meet the following criteria:

• the solution should relate to your ecosystem problem
• it should provide useful tips and details related to the solution you chose
• the poster should be organized, neat, and easy to read
• try to add 1-3 pictures to your poster to represent your solution
• the poster must be original, you may not take it from a website

Commercial Requirements

The commercial can be uploaded or video recorded in the question below. Your commercial must meet the following criteria:

• the solution should relate to your ecosystem problem
• it should provide useful tips and details related to the solution you chose
• your commercial should be at least 30 seconds
• the commercial audio should be clear and easy to hear
