What happened to the characters in modernized fairy tales ?

Synopsis :

- The 2 documents I liked : _ Little Red Riding Hood's twisted fairy tale in "Revolting Rhymes" _ Woolfe : The Red Hood Diaries - The document I didn't like : _ Little Red Riding Hood, Sam the Sham & the Pharaohs - The personal document linked with the sequence : _ Trailer of "Hansel & Gretel : Witch Hunters" - Conclusion

The second document I liked is : Woolfe : The Red Hood Diaries. This one seemed funny too, just imagining Little Red Riding Hood crushing wolves with an axe is fun. But I also chose it because it seemed similar to the previous Little Red Riding Hood twisted tale but it's different, so it made me realised we can really do everything with twisted tales. And finally, I like video games, so as it's the first document which is a video-game I've ever seen in my scholar life, I immediatly chose it.

The first document I liked is : Little Red Riding Hood's twisted fairy tale in "Revolting Rhymes" by Roald Dahl. I enjoyed studying this document for a few reasons, first of all, it's funny, I mean, the fact that Little Red Riding Hood pulls out a gun of nowhere and shoots at the Wolf is funny to me. Second of all, I have already read this tale because I read "Revolting Rhymes" right before, so I had to choose it as I know it well. Finally, I chose it because this tale was one of the first twisted fairy tales I read, i didn't know that such tales existed, and I learned it by "Revolting Rhymes".

The 2 documents I liked :

The document I didn't like :

The document I didn't like is called : "Little Red Riding Hood, Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs. I think the reason why I don't like this document at all is pretty obvious, this is a pedophiliar song. First of all, I don't like songs and musics very much, so with this "type" of song, I couldn't like it. Little Red Riding Hood is way too much sexualised by the Wolf, it made me feel very uncomfortable when listening to this song, I just wanted it to stop honestly. But the song is quite long...

Trailer's Link :

For the personal document, I chose the trailer of the movie : " Hansel & Gretel : Witch Hunters ". This movie was released in 2013 and was made by Tommy Wirkola. The trailer is humoristic and scary at the same time, there's a lot of jokes but also incidents like kidnapping or the death of some people. The theme is about witches and witch hunters, the first sentence of the trailer is : "For most people, witches only exist in fairy tales, and one day they arrive at your home and eat your kids. ". Obviously, this is directly linked to fairy tales, there's also another thing which links this film to fairy tales, the names : "Hansel & Gretel", almost everyone know this tale. It was written by the Grimm brothers in 1812. And the reason why they're here is of course because this movie is about witches.

The personal document linked with the sequence :

"Hawkeye" from the Avengers plays in this film.

So far, we've seen plenty of documents presenting twisted fairy tales, but what are these ? Twisted tales are a modified version of the original tale, it can be modified to be funnier, to carry a message beneath it, or to be less funnier. The axis is about imagination, which is logic, because with twisted fairy tales, we can invent everything based on the original tale. There's no real limit to what people can modify in these tales. So, what happened to the characters in modernized fairy tales ? Some have grown up, like for Woolfe, some are still like before, some are completely changed. This sequence was very interesting, I've never studied this type of thing in english so that was fun. Thanks for reading.
