Vampire

Vampires were feared creatures, as they killed people while looking like them. Vampires did not have a shadow, did not reflect in the mirror and could change their shape to that of a bat. Vampires could not enter a house without being guests, but once invited they could return whenever they wanted.

--- For some vampires are souls that cannot pass into the spirit world. --- Others believe that vampires are demonic creatures that live on human blood. They are created when bitten by another vampire, who then gives him his blood to drink. Their skin is generally white, either because they are not exposed directly to the sun, or because they are corpses, so there is no blood in their veins.
