Let Go of Control & Work to Change Thinking-Patterns about Control

Remember that you can only control yourself, not others. Try to let go when you’re not in charge. Understand that learning to release control over other people, their actions and choices, is not easy, especially when your nervous system is acclimated to inconsistent love, care and affection. Again, keeping a journal of these kinds of thoughts, as well as, working with a Coach or Therapist can help one make great strides in this area.
