How to play?

Make groups of 9. Two of you are going to be the stage directors, the rest of the group will perform the scene as actors. (2 stage directors + 7 actors : Danforth, Abigail, John Proctor, Mary Warren, Mercy Lewis, Hathorne, Susanna Walcott)

Stage directors:

Your job consists in giving actors instructions about what to do (stage directions) and what to say, when etc to guide your actors…You will be given a toolbox to help you better understand the different stage directions & complex words from the script. BEWARE! You must be very precise when you give instructions to your actors!

Actors:

Your job is to act while giving your best acting performance and follow the stage directors' instructions.

You will only have 20 minutes to get prepared - then you'll perform in front of the class!
