Diversity in

Media

POSITIVE

diversity

This news page portays positive diversity - although the subject it is writting about did wrong, they are showing the amount of outrage caused by it. Showcasing how bad of a thing the subject, and making it known to the public, portays how diversity is positive and a solution to the problem.

NEGATIVE

diversity

This news page portays negative diversity showing how the london ambulance does not have enough diversity in their quaters, though they are simply just adressing the issue.

Thanks For Watching

I&E Dialogues

- Host regular interfaith dialogues and discussions on various issues to promote understanding among different religious groups.- Organize town hall meetings to facilitate open conversations among diverse community members.

Royal Berkshire Hospital

This hospital means a lot to me since it was where I was born.

Language and Communication

- Encourage the learning of multiple languages or dialects.- Arrange language exchange programs to facilitate communication and understanding among students from different linguistic backgrounds.

Queen Elizabeth II

Truly a British icon; her colourful outfits, fancy hats summed her up greatly and really showed the lively part of Britain.

Stonehenge

This ruins remind me of the history-rich grounds we walk on everyday.

Britain (in general)

Coming from a family who didn't like buying houses, I've lived around Britian in rent houses in towns e.g. Redding, Henely On Thames, St. Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Leighton Buzzard.

Sunny Days

Since I've lived in Britain my whole life, I've became accustomed to the rainy, boring days and learnt that a sunny day is to cherish.

V&C Services

- Promote community service projects that involve students from various backgrounds working together.- Encourage students to engage in volunteer activities that benefit the local community.

Paddigton Bear

Was a very core part of my childhood. I use to love watching the movie and reading the books, when I was little we even visted Paddigton Station just to see it.

Christmas

Christmas is a time that I have always loved as it brings people closer and is a very fun festival.

CE&E

- Organize cultural festivals and community events that highlight the diversity of your local community.- Encourage community members to participate in events that celebrate different cultures and traditions.

S&P Activites

- Promote sports leagues and activities that bring people from different backgrounds together.- Create recreational spaces that are accessible to everyone in the community.

Extracurricular Activities

- Promote clubs and activities that celebrate different cultures, religions, and traditions.- Arrange cultural fairs and events where students can showcase their unique heritages. - Establish a diversity and inclusion committee to address any issues and create an inclusive atmosphere.

R&M

- Invest in data collection and research to monitor progress in community cohesion and identify areas that need improvement.- Establish government-funded think tanks to advise on best practices for promoting social cohesion.

ED-Plan

- Develop curriculum modules that emphasize cultural diversity, tolerance, and inclusion.- Organize workshops and seminars on understanding and respecting different cultures and backgrounds. - Encourage peer mentorship programs to bridge cultural gaps among students.

PNI

- Organize events and campaigns that celebrate the diverse aspects of British culture.- Encourage citizens to learn about the history, values, and symbols that make them proud to be British.

SIP

- Establish mentoring programs for newcomers or individuals who may feel marginalized.- Create a local community center that offers resources, support, and social services for those in need.

CIS

- Allocate resources for community centers and programs that bring people from different backgrounds together.- Provide grants to local organizations and initiatives that promote community cohesion.

Sunday Roasts

I look foward to the hearty meal at the end of the week. The gravy ties it all together.

AD-L

- Strengthen and enforce laws that prohibit discrimination based on race, religion, or nationality.- Establish reporting mechanisms for hate crimes and discrimination incidents.

Wow!

E&A

- Fund educational campaigns that focus on promoting diversity and inclusivity. - Support school districts in developing inclusive curricula and anti-bullying programs.

BJC

Being part of this judo club made me feel a sense of community and beloging in this country.

Home?

Having a place to call home is something I've (lucky) always had but I've never had a home for a very long time due to all the renting my family does. This experience has made me realise that home is where the heart is.
