The ULD strategy is understood as a very useful technique, through which many resources are managed to facilitate students' learning, for example visual, listening, expressions and actions, tactile perceptions, and others that meet the needs of students and provide better teaching and learning.
It helps give all students the same opportunities to succeed.
Understanding and usefulness of the UDL strategy
Definition and characteristics
It offers flexibility in how students in their academic settings access, interact with and show what they know.
This design of learning material for classrooms allows to help students with different disabilities, but also serves all students in general, so it is called "Universal Design".
Lorem ipsum dolor sit
It allows teachers to develop lesson plans and resources for better learning and attention for all students, especially those with cognitive difficulties or disabilities.
Flexibility is provided on the ways students can access information and in the ways, students can demonstrate their knowledge.
Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
Representation
Affective Networks The "WHY" of learning: Engagemente
This part allows you to manage information through the representation of visual texts, audio, videos, and other practical educational materials that suit all students.
This affective network enables students to build their knowledge. Learning is promoted with experiences that are meaningful, participatory, and valuable.
Affective Networks involved in the Unico Learning Design process
Three main principles of UDL
Lorem ipsum dolor sit
Recognition Networks The "WHAT" of learning: Representation
Action and expression
It intervenes in the physical and emotional part of the student making oral presentations, group activities, and supporting classes seen through dramatizations, among others.
This network allows the teaching process through the use of perceptual resources, symbol management, language according to the needs of the classroom, and strategies for understanding the activities through socialization and interaction.
Engagement:
Strategic Networks The "HOW" of learning: Action & Expression
Teachers encourage their students to be more interactive in class, to maintain their interest, to involve them in participatory projects, and to induce all students to move within the classroom in practical activities.
This network combines physical action, expression, and communication, as well as the management of resources used, to monitor student progress through the optimization of educational tools.
