Ya conoces una el Verb "To Be" o "Be". Este verbo tiene muchas formas y usos. Por ejemplo, cuando dices " I am fine " (Estoy bien) usas una forma de Be: "am", y la usas para decir cómo te sientes.

" Be " (Ser, estar)

Recuerda que algunos verbos cambian dependiendo de su uso. A esto le llamamos conjugación. Cuando usamos "Be" en presente y primera persona ( Yo / I ), el verbo se conjuga y cambia a " Am ".

Conjugación

Algunos verbos cambian su forma un poco (o mucho) dependiendo de el uso que se le dé. A esto se le llama conjugación. En este caso, al agregar -s a los verbos, los estamos conjugando a la 3ra Persona Singular (He/She/It).

Conjugación

Nota que en estos enunciados el verbo principal (la acción) no se conjuga, pues no se le agrega la terminación "-s " o alguna de sus variantes.¿Por qué? Porque en las frases negativas el verbo "Do" se conjuga en su lugar, convirtiendose en "Does ".

Si el verbo termina en: -o, -ch, -s, -ss, -sh, -x o -z ... se agrega -es al final.

- ies

Si el verbo termina en: consonante + "y" ... se reemplaza la "y" con " i " y se agrega -es. Es decir, termina en -ies .

Have

"Have" (Tener) es un verbo irregular en este sentido. En lugar de solo agregar -s , cambiamos su forma a "Has".

Demonstratives

Como ya sabes, " It " se usa para referirnos a algo en lugar de a alguien y el Verb Be se transforma en "is" en su caso ( "It is a car" ). Sin embargo, cuando queremos ser más específicos, este pronombre podría no sernos muy útil. Es por eso que tenemos los Demonstratives (Demostrativos ).
