Biography

Her name is Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel.She was born on august 19 1889 into poverty on French countryside, in Saumur.She was a french fashion designer. She was a founder of the housde of Chanel. She was the only fashion designer to by named on time magazine's 100 most influentiad people of the 20th century. She broke her free of conventions and became a role model. Chanel died on genuary 10 1971 in a room at the hotel Rits, at the age of 87, she was buried in the Bois-de-Vaux cemetery in Lausanne, Switzerland.

She was a very sportif woman and she used to do horse riding, golf and fishing. she was an example for people.

The Chanel's family used to live in poverty, they had 6 children, 2 boys and 4 girls, their mother Jeanne Devolle died in 1895 when she was aroud 8 years old, her dad abandoned her and her brothers and her sisters, the boys went in a farm, coco and her sisters to an orphanage.

The first turning point in Gabrielle's life was the meating with her first lover, Etien Balsan. Chanel meet Balsan in 1904. When the two meet, he was 25 years old and she was 21 years old, 4 years of difference. Balsan was appasionate about horses and resing, so Chanel learned to raid them. He was also the besigner's first finarcer. Their relacionship lasted 6 years.
