The silent method,silent way. This method emphasizes learning through self-discovery,autonomy and problem-solving, often using minimal verbal instructions from the teacher.

It is usefull for the infants children? The silent method could have advantages and challenges , but we think that isn’t usefull for this early childhood. Some children might need more guidance,direct instructions,also they could have different learning styles. While infants are learning a 2L they need lot of methods to practicess and to be familiar with this new language. So we think that this is not the best way to learn the second language.

Considering the level of stimulation of Piaget´s approach, the silent method modifies this.

Piaget's approach involves a variety of sensory experiences and in the silent method there`s an absence of verbal communication.

Piaget's theory acknowledges the importance of social interaction in learning,the silent method differs in terms of social interaction for infants In conclusion the silent method doesn`t lend the opportunity to develop new knolewge ,for the infants and the opportunity to discover the enviorment.
