La nostra agenzia di viaggi Travel&Learn ha pensato a un tour della penisola greca in bicicletta, il nostro viaggio è stato pensato per una coppia di persone (senza animali) della durata di due settimane.Il viaggio da noi pensato avrà un costo di massimo €3000. Il periodo pensato per il viaggio è primavera, piu precisamente nel mese di maggio.

Il Peloponneso in bici

La nostra vacanza durerà circa due settimane e visiteremo il Pelopponeso spostandoci soprattutto in bici e utilizzando anche i bus. Dormiremo in ostelli,bed and breakfast o in hotel "bike friendly"

Faremo circa 350 km in bici suddivisi in tappe da 50 a 80 km.Useremo i trasporti locali (bus) per i tragitti più lunghi e faticosi Useremo treno e traghetto perchè economici e a basso inquinamento

Parma- Ancona- Patrasso

Partenza dalla stazione dei treni di Parma su cui carichiamo anche le nostre bici in direzione Ancona. Ad Ancona ci imbarchiamo su un traghetto (la Anek Lines, che ci permette dio trasportare le bici senza costi aggiuntivi) per raggiungere il porto di Patrasso nel Pelopponeso da dove incominceremo la nostra "vacanza in bici" da fare a inizio maggio. La prima notte la trascorriamo in traghetto e la seconda notte dormiremo in un campeggio a Patrasso per poi partire il mattino successivo.

Patrasso- Loutra kilinis

Dopo un'abbondante colazione saltiamo sulla bicicletta con direzione Loutra Kilinis e percorreremo circa 80 km. Lutra è una località famosa per le bellissime spiagge

Loutra Kilinis- Olympia

Oggi pedaleremo per circa 60 km per arrivare a Olympia che è famosa per vedere il bellissimo sito archeologico. Qui si svolsero i primi giochi olimpici , dedicati a Zeus, nel 776 a.c. La visita di tutto la città aecheologico è del museo ci impegnerà per almeno 3 ore.

Olympia- Pylos (Navarino)

Per arrivare a Navarino prendermo un pulmann di linea su cui è possibile caricare le nostre bici. Il percorso è di circa 100 km ma ci vogliono 5 ore abbondanti perchè dobbiamo cambiare spesso pulmann. In questa baia ci sono alcune delle più belle spiagge del Peloponneso e ce ne è una molto bella e famosa chiamataVoidokilia. Qui ci fermeremo due notti in un camping vicino a una delle bellissime spiagge che si trovano in quest'angolo di Grecia

Pylos (Navarino)- Koroni

Si riparte in bici e si percorrono 50 km per arrivare a Koroni. Koróni è un’incantevole cittadina portuale veneziana e si trova sul Golfo Messenico. Ci sono case e chiese medievali e caratteristiche stradine che conducono a un promontorio su cui si trova un grande castello e un monastero

Koroni- Kalamata

Si percorrono in bici e 50 km e si raggiunhe Kalamata che è una bellissima città . Una delle principali attrazioni è il centro storico, con le sue stradine pittoresche, le chiese antiche e i tradizionali caffè e taverne. Ci sono anche spiagge stupende, con acque cristalline e sabbia dorata. Molti i luoghi da visitare come: il Castello ( da cui si può ammirare un bellissimo panorama) e il Museo Archeologico Ottimi prodotti gastronomici da assaggiare come l'olio d'oliva e il formaggio Manouri.

Kalamata-Sparta- Mystras

Si riprende il pulmann (caricando le bici e facendo un cambio) e si arriva a Sparta dopo circa 2ore di viaggio. Dopo un breve giro nella città moderna ci spostiamo a Mystras A 10 km si trova anche la piccola città di Mystra , patrimonio UNESCO, che risale all’epoca tardo bizantina e per visitarla ci serve almeno mezza giornata

Sparta- Micene

Altro spostamento in pulmann perchè le strade sono molto tortuose e lìitinerario è lungo per arrivare a Micene. Il viaggio dura oltre 5 ore Le attrazioni di Micene sono sostanzialmente due: il parco archeologico con le rovine di Micene antica (porta dei Lepni e mura ciclopiche ) e il museo archeologico.

Micene- Corinto

Riprendiamo le bici e ci spostiamo di 35 km per giungere alla bellissima città di Corinto e il suo canale che è lungo 6 chilometri e collega il Mar Egeo con il Mar Ionico. Oltre a visitare il Canale dedicheremo del tempo anche a vedere l’Antica Corinto dove si trova il Tempio di Apollo, costruito nel 550 a.C. e saliremo sull’Acrocorinto

Ultimo viaggio in pulmann per ritornare a Patrasso Si percorrono 172 km in 2 h e mezzo e si arriva a Patrasso , pronte per imbarcarci il giorno dopo e fare ritorno a casa
