Overfishing hurts the seas and the life under them

By damaging ecosistems and destroyng the floor of the oceans

Overfishing is a very serious and current problem, all around the world.

One of the countries that contributes more is China, being the 1° offender of illegal fishing.

China is world leader for import and export of fish products, not only to eat.

Chinese fishing fleet trespassed over 90 countries' national waters.

  • Only 15% of chinese original sea biomass is still alive
  • More than 40% of the fish caught by chinese boats are too young for human consuption
  • 15% of the total caught fish are from China
