TIPS TO IMPROVE YOUR USE OF LANGUAGE

TIP 1: Use vivid action verbs How do the characters move and react?

TIP 2: Use adjectives and adverbs to add more detail. Adjectives describe nouns, while adverbs describe verbs.

TIP 3: Use figurative language to intensify the horror. Make the setting even spookier with personification, horrible onomatopoeia, similes or metaphors.
