We all are guilty of Assuming Things, but beware

The following are some stories that have unsual endings. Your task is to figure out what happened. See if you are ruled by assumption or logic...

Jack and Judy are dead

Jack and Judy were lying on the floor dead. There was a puddle of water and broken glass on the floor. How did they die?

Jack and Judy were two goldfish that swam in a small aquarium placed on a shelf. One afternoon, a cat sneaked into the room through the window and hit the aquarium that fell off the shelf and broke against the ground.

Jack and Judy were sharing a glass of water. After Jack got a sip he handed the empty glass to Judy who dropped the glass. Both ran to get something to clean up the mess and tripped and both hit their heads on the floor dying instantly.

The water was leaking from the celing and Jack and Judy were trying to dance on the slick floor. They fell over a small table with a flower vase upon it which broke. They died of shock at their bad dancing.

Good Job! Use of Logic very high indeed Fatal Shot

Here's another one.

A hunter aimed his gun carefully and fired. Seconds later, he realized his mistake. Minutes later, he was dead.

He hunted in snow-capped mountains. The shot provoked an avalanche, which covered the man. He died of strangulation.

He accidently hit a mirror that hit his reflection right between the eyes. It scared him so badly that he ran into a tree and died.

He hit a tree with this gun then the bullet ricoched off a rock and hit him in the leg.

Almost, but not quite...Try again... not scary this time. First in Class

A man, who was examining some school, noticed that any time a teacher was asking a question, lots of pupils were ready to answer. Moreover, every time the teacher was choosing another person and the answer was always right.

The teacher told pupils to raise up their hands no matter what question would be asked. But if they knew the answer, they should raise the right hand, otherwise - the left one. Therefore the teacher could choose among the pupils who knew the answer.

The teacher has instructed the students to always raise their hand up when an adult enters the room...one never knows if it's an evaluation from the principal.

This is a class of geniuses. They always know the answers. Amazing.

OOPS. Try another one. Noseless death

It was December. While a man was in the forest, a wild beast bit off his nose. But he died only 3 months later.

It was a snowman. A rabbit bit off its carrot nose, but it melted only in April.

He later found the beast and asked him for the nose which he had a doctor sew back on. It didn't work. he got an infection that killed him in 3 weeks.

The man had a habbit of breathing through his mouth anyway. So he really did not miss his nose.

So right you are! Try again. A Stranger in the Car

A married couple was speeding into town when their sedan ran out of gas. The man went for help after making sure his wife closed the windows and locked the doors of the car. Upon his return, he found his wife dead and a stranger in the car. The windows were still closed, the doors were still locked, and no damage was done to the car.

The woman gave birth, and bled to death. Since the father has never seen the baby before, the kid can technically be called a stranger.

An axe murderer came down the hill and jumped into the car before the man could lock the door. He used his axe to hackthe woman to death.

A garden snake slithered into the car and bit the woman. The snake then curled up in the driver's seat and waited for the man.

Well, you tried. Prison break

Michael is in prison. One day, he has luch, goes to prison courtyard for a while and finally visits the library. At dusk, out of the reach of the security cameras, he changes his clothes. He then goes through the door to leave the prison, without being caught.

Michael worked as a guard in the prison.

Michael was released and thought he could just walk out.

Michael is a magician and can make himself disappear.

Keep Trying! You can Do it Death under an umbrella

A couple find a man's corpse on the beach. The corpse is under an umbrella and has a knife on his back. There are no signs of violence and no traces of blood. The autopsy reveals that the man died of natural causes.

The man, who had a tattoo of a knife on his back, died of a heart attack.

The man drowned and washed up on the shore with the knife still in his back. The ocean washed away the blood.

The man was only an actor with a fake knife in his back. He wasn't really dead, but he faked out the coroner.

You are very good at this...Next one A Murderer

Michael applaused, and everyone in the room (except him) died. What happened?

Michael was killing mosquitoes.

Michael was visiting his grandma in the nursing home. His appause scared all the residents to death.

Michael had bombs attached to his hands and they went off when he clapped.

Keep trying...you're getting the hang of it. Deadly scissors

A woman is found dead in a hospital. The murder weapon is a pair of scissors. However, the body has no cuts or wounds of any kind.

The woman's condition was critical, and the doctors had connected her to a device that kept her alive. The murderer simply cut the wires off that device with scissors to end her life.

The murderer is unable to use the scissors because he is left handed and these scissors are for right handed people. So he beat her to death with the scissors.

The woman saw the murderer with scissors. She thought he was running. As a former teacher she feels very strongly about running with scissors and died at the thought of it.

Well, this is the last one...Make it count. The Black Cat

A black cat is walking through the middle of a road where there is a broken street lamp. A man is driving his vehicle with headlights that do not work. Despite all of this, he is able to avoid harming the cat.

The man avoided the cat because it was daylight.

The cat ran out of the way.

The owner of the cat saw what was about to happen and was able to grab the cat in the nick of time.

You've got Logic on your side!

You've done very well at interpreting the stories to see what the most logical outcome would be.

Knowing how to use details to determine a scenario is very important. Sometimes we are tempted to assume details that are not there and that causes misunderstandings. Good job and

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Restart

You had your ups and downs. Try focusing on the little things to help.

Your answers may not have been the best, but there was some thought in the process.

Remember details, details, details. Don't assume anything. If a detail was not given it either doesn't matter or didn't happen.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Restart

You had some tough luck.

Make sure you read the details in the stories before you decide.

With a little more practice you will get the hang of it. Try it again.

The devil is in the details ...

Pay close attention to all the details. Ask what could happen or is it plausable. The choice is yours...
