The English-speaking world is composed of 88 countries and territories where English is either an official, administrative, or cultural language. It is the largest language by number of speakers, and the third largest language by number of native speakers, as well as the most geographically widespread language. You are going to get to know several curiosities about some of these countries.

St. George - a patron saint
St George was described as a martyr after he died for his Christian faith. Although he never visited England, his reputation for virtue and holiness spread across Europe and his feast day – the 23rd April – was celebrated in England from the 9th century onwards.
England isn't the only country to celebrate St George. Portugal celebrates him too.!

It is a Celtic language that is native to the Welsh people. Welsh is spoken natively in Wales and by some people in England.
