Simple Circuit

This movement of electricity can light up the bulb, like the one in this image. Just like in a circle, if there's a break anywhere in the path, the electricity stops and the light goes out. This is why it's important to make sure the circuit is 'closed' or connected all the way around. In a wind turbine, the closed circuit runs from the gear system to the generator to the battery.

The electricity starts at a power source, like a battery. When you connect wires from the battery to something like a light bulb and back to the battery, you create a path or 'track' for the electricity to move. In a wind turbine, the turning of the blades is what creates the power. The blades turning replaces the battery.

This is an on-off switch that controls the power flowing through the wires. This ensures the circuit doesn't run continuously. In a wind turbine system, switches can be used to manage when the turbine produces electricity. If the wind is too strong, or if there's a problem with the turbine, the switch can be turned off to stop electricity from being generated.

A simple electrical circuit is like a circle where electricity travels through wires. Imagine it like a racetrack for electricity. Please read the information below to see how a simple circuit works and how it is related to how a wind turbine operates.
