Growing up and studying :

Samira Moussa was born on March 3, 1917 in the Greater Sunbo Village, Zift Centre, Gharbia Governorate, Egypt. Her father had a prestigious social status among the children of his village, and it was a very simple familyHer father moved with his daughter to Cairo for her education, ‎. Samira Moussa was so smart that she wrote a book on “Algebra” in 1933 when she was only 16 years old

University career and qualification:

Samira has a bachelor's degree of Science from Cairo University (formerly Fouad University) and she was the first teaching assistant She got a master's degree in thermal communication of gases from London. Samira Moussa was the first Egyptian to obtain a doctorate in atomic radiation. And the first physicistanuclear and medical scientist in Egypt. Her atomic interests in the medical field: She hoped that the atom would be harnessed for the good of humanity ,and break into the field of medical treatment. Where she was saying: ‎«My wish is that treating cancer with corn is like aspirin.’’ However, in its quest to make “nuclear technology as cheap as aspirin” and readily available, it has developed an equation that would allow cheap metal atoms to be divided, thus making nuclear power affordable for all. Samira Moussa’s focus on how radiation is used to identify cancer cells helped her become the first woman to receive a PhD in atomic radiation in England.

She hoped that Egypt and the Arab world would have a place in this great scientific progress, as she believed that increasing the ownership of nuclear weapons contributes to achieving peace, because any country that adopts the idea of peace must speak from a position of strength.

Her death

She was invited to visit two nuclear laboratories in California, she rejected an American offer of naturalisation and participated in the establishment of the Atomic Energy Commission. She was killed on August 15, 1952 by a car accident during a visit to a nuclear laboratory in California, United States. She died in an accident, the circumstances of which remain unclear. She had intended to establish her own factory before her death.. In the other, there were allegations behind her assassination as a punishment for her attempt to transfer the nuclear flag to Egypt and the Arab world in that early period and Egypt's move to a prestigious position among developed countries.
