Vygotsky explains learning best through ZPD. ZPD is where a child learns through being exposed to new content, then being able to apply it and develop the skill with help and lastly being able to do it independently (Allman, 2023.)
Socialcultural
There are three major components of the social cultural thoery. The three concepts are social interaction, language and learning in the ZPD zone (Allman, 2023.).
Memory plays a part in learning along with interactions. Children learn through being exposed to new things and using what they remember from learning to applying it.

The main idea of connectivism is learning through the set of connections built by experiences and actions building a bridge between typical learning and technology based learning (Huezo, 2017.)
George Siemens and Stephen Downes began with this theory in the early 2000's to promot learning through a new technology based lense (Huezo, 2017.)

The memory is important becuase learning is done through the brain network and when we learn new things the brain and memory expands to continue building new connections.

Learning is best explained and occurs when the assumptions are put into practice and adults are more involved. Learning occurs through experience more so with mistakes and learning through them. More than anything adult learning is problem centered opposed to being content orientated (Vicki B, Adult learners 2023.)
Malcom Knowles developed the adult learning theory based on five assumptions based on the concept of learning in adults (Vicki B, Adult learners 2023.)
