Crime Scene Profiling

You find a photo of Alice at Disney Land Paris on the fridge. She looks to be about 5 ft 3' and approximately 25 years old. She's quite thin.

This cupboard has been ramaged through as though someone were looking for something. It doesn't look like anything valuable is missing....

The bowl in the microwave contains some pre-baked garlic bread. The bowl and the bread smells delicious but it is cold so you don't take a bite.

All of the closed cupboards are meticulously ordered. Products such as cereals, pastas and canned soups are stocked in alphabetical order.

It appears as though Alice was blending together the ingredients for a cocktail. One litre worth of cocktail...

Bleach has been detected on the floor, as though someone tried to clean up a stain recently.

The oven is on and the pre-heat timer is going off.

The Victim

The victim, a middle-aged woman named Alice who lives alone, was found sprawled on the kitchen floor. She had curly auburn hair and wore a flowery apron, which was stained with what appeared to be a mixture of flour and tomato sauce.

One of the kitchen drawers stands ajar, and inside, you notice a gap where a large kitchen knife should have been.

An ordinary toaster.

Upon closer examination of the kitchen, you notice a half-prepared lasagna on the counter. Layers of pasta, cheese, and sauce were neatly arranged in a casserole dish, but the process appeared to have been abruptly interrupted.

The mixer has been used to make dough recently.
