Pathfinder Ranking
This was Pearl Jam's second time being the musical guest on SNL and this performance of "Rearviewmirror" definitely counts as one of their most memorable gigs to date. Vedder vocally controls the sound very well and isn't afraid to let raw emotion peak through. Vedder's emotion bleeds well into the bands passion while playing.
Pearl Jam performing "Rearviewmirror" on Saturday Night Live in 1994

Rearviewmirror
Pearl Jam perfroming at the 1993 MTV Music Video Awards with Neil Young
At the 1993 MTV Video Music Awards Pearl Jam started this iconic performance with "Animal" and later Neil Young, one of the bands musical idols, joined them to perform his song "Rockin' In The Free World" Later that night the band received four awards for their music video for "Jeremy" and for best Hard Rock Performance.
02
Animal
Pearl Jam performing "Daughter" in 2018
This stands as one of my favorite Pearl Jam performances, as it allows Vedder's more mature voice to shine. As well as shows the crowds stunning interaction with the band.
03
Daughter
Pearl Jam performing "Leash" at Pinkpop 1992
""Leash" remains as one of my favorite songs off of "Vs." as it was able to take a lot of the same intensity that "Ten" had and not repeat it, but still include it.
04
Leash
Pearl Jam performing "Go" and "Animal" on their 1993-1994 tour
Vedder owns this performance with his bombastic vocal control with "Go" and "Animal"
05
Go
Pearl Jam performing "Glorified G" on their 1993-1994 tour
While it's not my favorite Pearl Jam song, the live performances of the track easily gets Eddie Vedder's spitful tone across.
06
Glorified G
Pearl Jam performing "Dissident" in 2000
"Dissident" is hit with many expectations of Vedder being able to hit all of the excessive vocal demands, but more often than not, Vedder fails to do so.
07
Dissident
Pearl Jam perfortming "Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town" acoustically in 1994.
Even though this isn't one of my favorite Pearl Jam songs, live performances of this track help make it more enjoyable. This is due to the bands ability to make any performance engaging, even if it's just with acoustic instruments.
08
Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town
Pearl Jam performing "Indifference" on their 2016 tour.
This ia a great performance of "Indifference," as Pearl Jam make the simple ballad much more interesting by adding in more improvisation.
09
Indifference
Pearl Jam performing "Rats" on their 2016 tour.
"Rats" is a more obtuse song that Pearl Jam has released and I don't really like it, but Pearl Jam was able to make the song more appealing by strengthening the song when performing it live.
10
Rats
Pearl Jam performing "W.M.A" on their 2016 tour
It's be almost 30 years of Pearl Jam performing "W.M.A." and the bands passion and composure is only getting stronger as the years go on.
11
W.M.A.
Pearl Jam performing "Blood"on their 1995 tour.
If "Blood" originally sounded like this performance on "Vs." then it would've ranked higher for me. I love Vedder's passion and movement in this performance.
