Director of Learning Resources Visits Clinical Campus Library

Assoc Prof Dr Heethal Jaiprakash, Director of Learning Resources at the International Medical University (IMU), led a visit to IMU Library Clinical Campuses with the library management team. Safety Assessment: OSH Audit

In a recent update, it has been brought to light that the International Medical University (IMU) Library has attained success in both internal and external audits for ISO45001 Occupational Safety and Health (OSH). These audits were executed with ultimate precision and aimed at highlighting IMU's dedication towards Occupational Safety and Health. Farewell Celebration for Ms. Robayah

Ms. Robayah Atan, a dedicated senior Acquisition Librarian cum Deputy Chief Librarian at the International Medical University (IMU), said goodbye after over 10 years of service. A farewell party was held on 7 October 2023 at Rebung Restaurant, attended by IMU's Director of Learning Resources, Dr. Heethal Jaiprakash, IMU Chief Librarian, Hajah Zuhanariah Mohd Nordin and 12 library staff members from main and clinical campuses.

IMU e-Library License

The dedicated team behind this initiative includes Hajah Zuhanariah Mohd Nordin as the advisor, Mr. Razman Shah Mohd Razali as the team leader, and members Mr. Norhalim Mohd Nor, Ms. Hajar Afiqah Saharani, Ms. Nurul Hafizah Jumat, Ms. Noor Syazwani Munajat, Ms. Norzilamazni Saniman, Mr. Mohd Fadzil Kemat, Ms. Efizah Sofiah Ramly, and Ms. Nur Hafizah Hussain. Their collaborative efforts commenced in May with the creation of course modules, leading to the successful entry of the license into the International Learning Resources Festival (ILRF) 2023 competition.

IMU Library Knowledge Challenge

The IMU Library Knowledge Challenge 2023 Quizzes took place from 1st August – 1 November 2023 in conjunction with IMU International Learning Resources Festival 2023 (iLRF23). The quizzes aimed to help users discover the online databases and collaborate with vendors for better use of e-resources. The success of the online challenge contributed to the vibrant atmosphere leading up to the iLRF 2023 event.
