Lesson 3: GCF and LCM of Monomials
LCM stands for Least Common Multiple. This is the smallest, or least, number that both numbers multiple in to. For example, the LCM of 3 and 5 would be 15. This is the smallest number that both 3 and 5 go in to.
Remember GCF stands for Greatest Common Factor. This is the biggest, or greatest, number that goes in to both numbers in the problem. For example, the GCF of 12 and 15 is 3. 3 is the biggest number that 12 and 15 are both divisible by.

Lesson 4: Absolute Values and Evaluating Expressions
Expressions involve variables and numbers, but are not set equal to anything. When asked to evaluate an expression, we simply simplify! For Example: Evaluate x + 3, when x = 2 2 + 3 5
An absolute value is the distance from zero. Distance is always positive, so the absolute value of a number will always be positive. For Example: |-3| = 3
