SMART RECOMMENDATIONS

1- Don't post personal information ( address, email, phone number...) 2- Check your private setting, make sure only your friends and family can see your posts. 3- Never give your identifiers or share your passwords. 4- Use strong passwords with capital letters, numbers and signs. 5- Decline strangers' requests for friendship. Don't accept unknown people on your social media. 6- If something makes you feel uncomfortable, block or stop communication. 7- If you decide to meet an online friend in real life, you'd better meet him / her in a public place, never go alone and tell a trusted adult where you are going. 8- Request your friends' permission before sharing their pictures. 9- You mustn't post anything that could be embarrassing for your future. 10- Think before you post: is it true? Is it hurtful? Is it illegal? Is it necessary? Is it kind?

1- Never open files from strangers. 2- If you are hacked, change your password 3-If a window pops up saying that you have won a prize, delete or deny. 4- Shop safely!: Thieves may use a false identity. Some people sell things but they never send you the goods. Thus, only visit secure sites and ask your parents before using their credit card online!

1- Don't bully people! Don't send or post nasty, mean messages or emails!2- Never respond to provocation, always keep calm.3- If you are bullied:

  • block the person, take screenshots of the messages and delete them.
  • Tell a trusted adult, especially if the messages contain threats.
  • Tell the police if trusted adults cannot find a solution.

PROTECT YOUR DEVICES

  • Don't ccept strangers' phone calls.
  • Don't use your phone in class for personal use.
  • Don't spend too much time on your phone.
  • Don't post nudes and sextext, it's dangerous for your eReputation.

1- You should keep your device safe and secure all the time. 2-Do'nt go on hazardous websites. Don't click on hazardous links sent by strangers. 3- You must have an anti virus on your devices and update it regularly. 4- Don't download anything without your parents permission, it could contain viruses or malwares.

REMEMBER

  • Taking, sharing or possessing pictures of naked teens and kids is illegal.
  • Spending too much time using screens can be dangerous for your physical health but also psychological health.
