WHAT IS THE WATER POLLUTION?

Water pollution is the contamination of water sources by substances which make the water unusable for drinking, cooking, cleaning, swimming, and other activities.

Water pollutants include:

• Chemicals
• Trash
• Bacteria
• Parasites

CAUSES OF WATER POLLUTION

Right here there are the principal causes of water pollution:

• Industrial waste
• Oil leaks and spills
• Global Warming
• Marine dumping

RISK OF WATER POLLUTION

Contaminated water and poor sanitation are linked to transmission of illnesses such as:

• Cholera
• Diarrhoea

• Dysentery
• Hepatitis A

Absent, inadequate, or inappropriately managed water and sanitation services expose individuals to preventable health risks.

SOLUTION OF WATER POLLUTION

There are some methods for solving water pollution:

DO NOT dispose of these chemicals:Motor oil or other automotive fluids into thesewage systems

Use the minimum amount of detergent and/or bleach when you are washing clothes or dishes

Use only phosphate free soaps and detergents

Minimize the use of pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers
