Legge di stevino e bottiglia forata

scopo dell' esperienza...

Con questo esperimento vogliamo dimostrare che la pressione di un liquido è determinata dalla profondità, quindi dall'altezza della colonna d'acqua.

Materiale utilizzato...

Bottiglia di plastica

Scotch

Pennarello indelebile

Acqua

Taglierino

fasi dell'esperimento

Procurarsi una bottiglia di plastica (preferibilmente da plastica riciclata/riciclabile)

Segnare con il pennarello indelebile 4 punti posti a varie altezze e ricreare dei fori.

Con lo scotch coprire i fori per impedire temporaneamente la fuoriuscita successiva di acqua.

Aprire la bottiglia e riempirla d'acqua. Rimuovere lo scotch e osservare la fuoriuscita dell'acqua.

Risultati dell'esperimento

Si può notare che quando la bottiglia è chiusa, poichè la pressione atmosferica non influisce sull'acqua, essa non fuoriesce dai fori. Se invece si toglie lo scotch e si apre la bottiglia, a causa dell'influenza della pressione atmosferica, l'acqua fuoriesce. Dai fori praticati però l'acqua non uscirà ugualmente, bensì i diversi getti di acqua saranno maggiori se l'altezza della colonna d'acqua è maggiore e minori se la colonna d'acqua diminuisce. Questo per la Legge di Stevino
