A returning citizen, who prior to their incarceration had never been employed, must find a job that allows them to pay their probation fees and secure a place to live in four weeks. As a Justice-Involved Life Coach...

Providing support to the returning citizen during their active job search by connecting them to housing programs and opportunities that are specifically designed for people who are fornerly incarcerated.

Helping the returning citizen prepare to enter the workforce by developing an inventory of hard and soft skills they may have mastered in settings outside of employment, such as education and/or trade programs.

Working together to build resources and skills on-going not only looking at short term solutions but also exploring paths to entrepreneurship or vocational training.

Looking beyond the problem and towards solutions by developing immediate, short-term, and long-term plans that will assist with helping the returning citizen that may not have an extensive employment history a better opportunity to secureemployment, maintain housing, and comply with the terms of their probation.
