Spots and Resources on Campus - CIF - The Career Center - Quad

Did I challenge myself to step outside of my comfort zone? - Yes, I've forced myself to go to both me and my friend's club meetings or social events to try to meet new people

What did I do to explore university? - I went to eat at all the dining halls and a lot of places on Green St. - Walked to classes to familiarize myself with campus

Where did this lead me to? 1. ISR is the best dining hall with the best convience store. 2. Yogi is the best place for Korean food 3. The 220 or 22 will take my back to my dorm 95% of the time

What have I been up to? - Sleep - Classes - Going to RSO meetings/social events Favorite class? - None...but if I had to pick it would be chemistry Favorite building? - Union Favorite study space? - Grainger Library

Do you feel like you were able to create a community? - Yes, the community of those struggling in chem 102 Did you attend any campus events? Did you join any campus organizations? - I've attended many events hosted by the Asian American Association (AAA). I've join the pre-dental fraternity, pre-dental club, badminton for fun club, and I plan on rushing a business or pre-health fraternity in the spring. What was the most impactful experience you engaged in? And why? - I would say the Night Market hosted by TASC. I would say it was more fun than impactful because I really haven't had an impactful experience. But this event was well organized and really highlighted the commradery and spirit of the school.

What did I learn? - I've learned that getting adjusted into the college life is a lot easier when you let yourself go. Be open to trying new things, be out going, and try to make the most of every day. School wise, I've learned that it is essential to manage your time well and to try not to procrasinate everything. What else have you planned for this semester? - I plan on continuting to go to social events whether that be the football games or club social events. Besides that, my plan is to try to hold up until winter break What are some experiences you could engage in during the next few weeks and the next semester? - Like I mentioned, I plan on continuing to go to the badminton club, AAA events, and rushing the business and pre-health fraternities next semester. Who are you now, who are you hoping to be by the end of this semester/year? - I feel like I'm an inexperienced college student still figuring out ways to study and stay productive. I hope to be an outgoing balanced student by the end of the semester, getting assignments in on time and still being able to set time aside for friends What steps can you take to create an impactful and memorable first year experience? And why? - Be more involved in RSOs on campus and go to more events. I think this will help me create an impactful and memorable experience because this allows me to meet more people on campus and many of the social events can be fun such as the barn dance.
