Recognized my completion of degree
I received a certificate documenting my membership along with the commemorative medal at the induction ceremony and took the Oath of the Engineer demonstrating my commitment to the profession.
I was introduced to the Heta Lambda Beta Society in our department upon completing my degree.
The HLB Society was formed in 2021 as a nod to our department's namesake to recognize the successful completion of degree requirements by ECE graduates.
I am an Engineer. In my profession, I take deep pride. To it, I owe solemn obligations.
I received some tool kits in my freshmen year at my first ECE class, and I’ve kept them since then. I used these tools and components for many lab assignments and had a lot of fun during the process. They represent the beginning of my ECE journey and witnessed my growth over time. Since I have too many tools and components, it would be hard to fit all of them into the time capsule. I would pick one of the most used parts as the object for this project, which would be the breadboard because it’s the most basic part and almost all the circuits need to be built on top of it.

Goodbye Card
Recognized me as an engineer
I had an internship experience this Spring and this is the goodbye card my teammates gave me on the day of my left. Each person in the team wrote a message for me. They recognized my abilities as an engineer and wished me all the best for my future journey, which gave me a huge amount of power and motivation. This card represents my memories of that experience as well as an accomplishment for me as an engineer.
Code
The new object I added is not a physical object, but a piece of code so I printed its output using the laser cutter.
I started learning programming in high school, and that’s how I became interested in and ended up learning engineering in undergrad.
The piece of code I chose here is from one of the tasks I did from the very beginning of my programming study and was the most impressive one. I was supposed to write a single line of code to print a pattern made by a special character. The pattern was cute so I decided to select it as my time capsule object and use it as the representer of the starting point of my journey.
