Liberty Bell Facts!
- The Liberty Bell weighs around 2,080 pounds.
- The Liberty Bell is composed of approximately 70% copper, 25% tin, and has traces of lead, zinc, silver, and gold.
- The Bell has not been rung since since George Washington's birthday in February of 1846. The crack in the Bell appeared the same year.
- In the late 1800s, the Bell traveled to expeditions and fairs around the country to help unite Americans after the Civil War.
