By: Emily Hays 3rd Grade Science MLS 3. PS1. A. 1.
Directions:
This project is for our 3rd grade class. We will be learning about how water and other states of matter can change forms. We will learn about liquids, solids, and gases. Please look at all of the interactive buttons and watch all of the videos. Please list the three states of matter on a piece of paper with your name on it and turn it in when you are done.
Start
Sublimation is the transition of a substance directly from a solid state to a gas state.
Condensation is the conversion of a vapor or gas into a liquid.
Evaporation is the process of turning liquid into vapor. When water is boiled it becomes water vapor. This is an example of evaporation.
Melting means to become liquefied by heat. Freezing is where a liquid becomes a solid when its temperature is lowered below its freezing point.
Watch This Video.
