The General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) is an academic qualification in a range of particular subjects, taken in England by all students
the british system demand schools to be open for 195 days, and the compulsory school is between 5 and 16 years (in britain kids start school at a youger age) and at the age of 16 they take an exam called gcse
the italian system requires that schools got to be open for 200 days, and the compulsory school is between 6 and 16 years, finished the school students can decide if start work or get a degree

after school activities
in britain, most of the schools starts at 9 o' clock and end at 15 o' clock. students then can go home and do homeworks, but students bebore getting home can stay for after school clubs and do some funny and instructive activities with their friends.in italy, is kinda the same with the only difference that school start at 8 o' clock and ends at 13.30/14.15
In Italy the marks are different from the marks in Britain: in Italy they are numbers from 1 to 10, instead in Britain the marks are letters from A+ (the best mark) and F (the worst) Britain: A+, A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, C-, D+, D, D-, F. Italy: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

ITALIANin italy is different, you can't get educated at homebut in rare cases: like if the student is seriously ill. He can keep study at home and get tutored by the teacher

BRITISHin britain students can be educated at home. They learn the same subjects they might learn at school like: math, english, history ecc... but they do this between domestic walls

BOTH THE SCHOOL SYSTEMS HAVE ADOPTED THE USE OF SCHOOL UNIFORMS (PREDOMINANTLY IN PRIVATE SCHOOLS) BUT FOR A DIFFERENT PURPOSE EACH OTHERS

instand, the british school system is better because, right from primary school, children are accustomed to speaking in public, with small exercises that help them overcome fears and shyness, all in relation to their age obviously, but the concept is learning to express themselves, in all of this the figure of the teacher is important, respected. Also is very engaging for his students. this it what make the english school system one of the best in the world
ITALIAN SCHOOL is identified by his students an old style school, and in a sense is true. italian school system is not engaging for his students.
