Message from mission control
Greetings space cadets! Here is your mission:
On the next page is a map of our solar system. You will see buttons you can click on to learn more about the different parts of the map. You will need to take notes based on the information provided. There are 7 different buttons to find (one of them is hidden). Once you are done, we will share out our answers and compare information.
Let's explore the Solar System!
Mars Rovers
People have not been to Mars yet, but so far 6 rovers have been sent to Mars throughout history. Rovers are motor vehicles designed to examine the territory of Mars. Two are currently active: Curiosity, which was launched in 2011, and Perseverance, which was launched in 2020. These rovers are autonomous, which means they can control themselves and communicate with people on Earth.
