Problem Statement IIn the context of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) education, there is a pressing need to understand how cultural backgrounds and identity factors influence the selection and effectiveness of language learning strategies among students from diverse cultural backgrounds. This issue is of significant importance due to the growing interconnectedness of the world, leading to increasingly multicultural and multilingual classrooms. However, there is a lack of comprehensive research addressing the following critical aspects: The Influence of Cultural Values on Language Learning Strategies: Little is known about how students from various cultural backgrounds navigate their English language learning journey. Cultural values, norms, and communication styles are likely to shape their decisions regarding language learning strategies, which, in turn, can impact their language proficiency and learning outcomes. Understanding this impact is essential for creating customized language education programs.

The Role of Cultural Identity in Motivation and Attitude:A student's cultural identity, molded by their heritage and individual experiences, constitutes a significant aspect of their overall identity. However, the extent to which cultural identity influences a student's motivation, attitude, and confidence in learning English remains largely unexplored. This knowledge gap hinders educators' ability to effectively engage and support students in their language learning endeavors. Addressing Cultural Sensitivity in Classroom Settings: As classrooms become more diverse, educators face the challenge of accommodating diverse preferences and learning strategies stemming from various cultural identities. Understanding the role of cultural sensitivity in educational settings is crucial for creating inclusive and effective teaching environments. Therefore, this research aims to address these critical gaps by investigating the repercussions of cultural backgrounds and identities on English language learning strategies. By delving into how cultural values impact strategy selection, the role of cultural identity in motivation and attitude, and the importance of cultural sensitivity in classrooms, this study seeks to provide valuable insights that can inform pedagogical approaches and curriculum design for EFL education in culturally diverse contexts.
