He was born in 1866 at the United Kingdom and died in 1946. At firts he was a scientist, but after he became a writer of the science fiction genre. He was one of the most popular British writers of his era. He wrote more than fifty books in his life.

the book begins...
The book begins with the explanation of the protagonist, the time traveler, of the 4th dimension,the time, to his friends that are a doctor,a psychologist,a journalist, an editor. After the explanation he reveals his project, which involves testing the time machine he had previously created. They, not believing this,they laugh at him, so He decides to test it in front of them by traveling into the future, with many expectations, for example he imagined that we would have developed technology a lot. At first, not seeing anyone, he thought that man will extinguish but then while he was still observing the landscape he was surrounded by people,the eloi, and they had: a celestial appearance, short and weak build. Pursued as the days went by, the time traveler with his new friend "Weena" explored the place in search of his time machine which he had lost after a short time after landing. During the exploration, at night he came across some people who looked like monsters, they were the opposite of the eloi and were called the morlocks. after a series of clashes with monsters and the loss of her friend, he manages to find the time machine and return to the present. in the present, the protagonist will tell his friends what happened, but they won't believe him.

my opinion
i don't like the story... because I found it very confusing, because it was mostly based on the protagonist's hypotheses
