Types of Animals
4th Grade Life Science
Project Created by Ms. Paige Greenfield
Directions and Objective
Class, today we are going to learn about all of the different types of animals. You are going to be doing different activities, such as watching videos, observing through pictures, and reading articles. I will be giving everyone a worksheet to fill out as you go through each section. There will be hotspots for each different type of animal. You can read the information/directions by hovering over the icons. Each hotspot will be located on an animal, except the invisible button. It could be anywhere on the next page! You will also need to hover your mouse and wait until you see a textbox that begins with "Yay!". Make sure to read the directions on each hotspot. It will let you know what to do for each section. Have fun learning about animals!
Reptiles
Pictured to the left are some of the many different types of reptiles. As you can see, there are some similarities and some differences between each one. On the "Reptiles" section of your worksheet, I would like you to draw a Venn diagram and compare two reptiles. Make sure to add three similarities and three differences about each reptile. Do not use color as a difference as reptile species can vary in colors.
