The number of times a targeted behavior occurs relative to the desired behavior. Think Rate = Ratio. Example: The student was on task doing assignments for 50% of the time in class.

Latency
The amount of time for which a behavior occursExample: The student was off task for 5 minutes before starting their work. .
The amount of time before a behavior occurs. It's the gap of time between stimulus and response. Example: When given instructions to begin their assignment, the student waited 5 minutes before starting their assignment.
Locus
The location or context in which a behavior occurs. Example: The student refused to sit down during lunch at the lunch tables.

The strength with which a behavior occurs. Example: The student screamed in the classroom loudly.
