- Titus was a calm and fair emperor to Rome. - He had a lot of popularity because of how generous he was.

- He was missed by all - He was worshiped by the Roman Senate - His brother Domitian became ruler

- died on 13 September 81 CE only two years after he became ruler - his death was most likely caused by a fever but there are still suspicions of murder
