The movie

Young Yuta Okkotsu gains control of an extremely powerful spirit, so a group of sorcerers enroll him at Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School, to help him control this power and also to keep an eye on him.

Jujutsu Kaisen is a dark anime that deals with supernatural elements like curses, spirits, and sorcery. The anime begins with the death of the protagonist's grandfather, Yuji Itadori. Before dying, he asks Itadori to live a life where he can choose how to die without having any regrets.

At the occult club, members end up finding a mysterious object, a human finger. The truth is that it is the finger of Sukuna, known as the King of Curses. In the midst of all this, Itadori devours Sukuna's finger and ends up gaining powers. For some reason, Sukuna is unable to take possession of Yuji's body, who takes the advantage.

Upon learning that Itadori has certain immunity against Sukuna, the most influential sorcerers want Itadori to be eliminated. However, Satoru Gojo, known as the most powerful sorcerer today, proposes something different: having Itadori devour all of Sukuna's fingers to eliminate the soul of the King of Curses.

And that's how the story begins. Satoru teaches Itadori how to be a sorcerer, following the mission of retrieving all of his fingers and devouring them.
