NON DIMENTICARE IL VERBO ESSERE!!! Può succedere di aggiungere solo -ing (senza am/is/are). E' un errore molto comune ma, ora che lo sai, puoi facilmente evitarlo!

il NOT si inserisce tra il verbo essere (ausiliare) e il verbo principale.

ARE + NOT > AREN'T IS + NOT > ISN'T
Alla forma contratta il NOT si "fonde" con il verbo essere (tranne alla prima persona singolare) > I'm not
EXAMPLES :
She isn't calling our mum. We aren't writing on the book. Francesco is not talking to me. The horses aren't running in the field. I'm not painting a picture. You are not cleaning the table.
Forma interrogativa
il VERBO ESSERE (ausiliare) si sposta all'inizio della frase.

forma interroGativa e risposte brevi
Le risposte brevi si formano con il verbo be (ausiliare) alla forma affermativa o negativa. Non dimenticare la virgola dopo YES/NO
EXAMPLES :
Are we going home? Yes, we are. Is the teacher writing? No, she isn't. Are the kids singing? Yes, they are. Am I bothering you? No, you aren't. Is your cat hiding? Yes, it is.
