The Greensboro Sit-Ins took place in the year 1960 In North Carolina. The purpose of GreensBoro was to set out changes in diners and resturants. Many of the Greensboro protesters were students. After the first day, The whites slashed water and condiments on the African American Protesters heads. After news spread about the Greensboro Sit-ins, many more people/students joined an d participated in thr Sit-Ins After the Sit-ins the process took awhile but ended up being very succseful in a way others became inspired and protested in pools, librarys lunch counters, etc.

This picture shows an example on how the students took part and participated in the Greensboro protests. And this image shows how badly they were treated due to their frowns. The protesters were calm as shown in this picture. What would have happened to the protesters if they showed aggressive behavior??

This picture shows where the protesters protested and what cafe they went to test the laws about diner rules.

This picture shows how the students were and how calmly they acted while all the violence was going around them. The workers refused to serve lunch to them and the whites were furious about them sitting there.

The assastionation of Martin Luther King Jr took place on April 4th 1868 in Mepehis TN at Lorriane Motel. MArtin Luther King was a Civil Rights Activist who wanted to change the rights of African Americans. Martin Luther KIng started out as a baptist Minister at Ebenezer Baptist church. Throughout MLK's Life, he was very big and traveled to many cities in order to test the laws. Sadly, Martin Luther King was shot in the head by Jesse jackson and was not able to survive in time. News spread of MLK getting killed and eveyrone was in shock. What if Martin Luther King was never shot? How would the world be today?

In this artifact, Martin Luther King just gave his famous "I Have a Dream Speech" to thousands of people and left the podium during this picture was taken.

This picture represents the shooting of Martin Luther King and where the shooting took place. This image shows us the news reporters seeking shelter due to the fact they heard the gunshot from King's room.

Little Rock Nine took place at Central High School. Nine students were selected to go to an all white school. These Nine students needed to behave and be in honor role. The first day the African American highschoolers could not enter the high school due to one guard. On september 3rd, the guard was ordered to let them in the school. this guard was against them and never wanted to let them in. The second day, the gaurd let them inside the school. When school hours were done, all of Little Rock Nine students were threated and poured with viloence. this Violence went on.

This image shows one of the students entering Central High School. This student was named Melba. Melba was very helpful brave and smart individual who signed up to be able to study at Central High but her mother and grandmother did not allow her to at first. But, supported her decision.
