Mision
The "Comisión Federal para la Protección contra Riesgos Sanitarios," which translates to the Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks. It is a regulatory agency in Mexico responsible for overseeing and regulating health-related matters, particularly concerning pharmaceuticals, medical devices, food, beverages, cosmetics, and other health products.
The "Secretaría de Agricultura, Ganadería, Desarrollo Rural, Pesca y Alimentación," which translates to the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries, and Food is a branch of the Federal Executive Power, with the objective of fostering the implementation of a supportive policy that allows for improved production, better utilization of the comparative advantages of our agricultural sector, integration of rural activities into productive chains of the broader economy, and the encouragement of collaboration from producer organizations through their own programs and projects, as well as with the goals and objectives set forth for the agricultural sector in the National Development Plan.

Mexico will have a reliable and effective national authority for protection against health risks, distinguished by its technical, operational, and regulatory capabilities, as well as its commitment to the human and professional development of its personnel. COFEPRIS will establish and implement policies, programs, and projects at the level of the best international practices, in effective coordination with various actors from the public, private, and social sectors, to prevent and address health risks, thereby contributing to the population's well-being.

To protect the population from health risks arising from the use and consumption of goods and services, health inputs, as well as from exposure to environmental and occupational factors, the occurrence of health emergencies, and the provision of health services through the regulation, control, and prevention of health risks.
Mision
An agri-food sector, a pillar of economic growth and population well-being, that ensures food self-sufficiency for all Mexicans through the sustainable use and exploitation of natural resources, the inclusion of both men and women in rural areas, and equity among regions of the country.
