Inside the high school, there is no green area in which we can plant local plants (including flowers or plants in general). By adding this, we can promote the education of ecology inside the high school, so students can know more about this. Also, thanks to this, we can help the local bees and the local market by buying and using local plants that can survive the harsh temperatures of Monterrey.

2. Parque Las Brisas
Other of the places in which we can a a community green area is in Parque las Brisas, in which throughout time, the park has been getting worse and worse. As a consequence, the plants have slowly dying, and thanks to this, the state of the park is very bad. By adding a community green area with local plants, we can show the neighbors how to take care of them, bring back the park to its original state, help the local economy, and educate people on the community in how to take care of plants.

One of the aims of our project is to introduce it to middle schools. We think that it is very important to educate the kids into the ecology, how to plant, how to take care of them, and show some local plants.
