Welcome to the University of Brighton's campus where the infectious zombie outbreak has rapidly spread, infecting staff & students alike. As a first year student, you must navigate through the dark & eerie halls of the university's deserted library, searching for Dr. Marcus Thompson's cure that will save your librarian friend and other infected people before it's too late. Use your wits to decipher cryptic clues, locate scientific articles and unlock doors to all kinds of mysteries that might lead you to the cure. But be warned, the infection and its zombies are relentless, and every passing minute brings you closer to danger. Can you save your friend and get the cure to the authorities before it's too late? Good Luck.
Enter the Library
You run in, panicked. There were gunshots. Was everybody okay? Those creatures can't fire guns (yet). That should be a good sign. You need to escape. You need to run. You need to be safe. But most of all, you need to do something. As soon as you enter, lying injured on the floor but conscious, you see Eva. They've always been kind to you. What happened to them? You want to help!

Oh, it's you!A military sniper got the one attacking me, so the damage has been minimal. From what I know, this thing could be curable. Dr. Thompson was my friend. Before things went haywire, he said the cure could be found in this building and everything we needed would be in the library. Start at my drawer. He used to leave me games on bits of paper to play! Maybe that's where the information is.See if you can figure out where the cure is, and hurry! I fear I don't have long left.

- Artemisinin! That has to be what will save them!
- I need to find where the Artemisinin was stored!
- It said "Synthetic" "Zombie" "by Adams" in the clue, and Dr. Thompson said it was a research article, so I'm going to search the online library.
Check what you know so far!
This was a journal article Marcus had — Argh! — printed out for me because he knew I hated reading on the computer and was interested in cool zombie theories.AHHH! I have that copy in a folder on the desk. Grab it and see if there's anything useful.I'm so glad you know what the cure is. I hope you find it soon because — it's becoming harder for me to speak!
Eva Says,
Read the printed article
- Dr Marcus Thompson's cure is on the University campus
- Does the University library have the answers?
- Eva's games by Dr. Thompson could tell me where to find the cure
- Could random bits of paper hold the answers to this infection?
- That was Dr. Marcus Thompson's phone number!
- He said to trust no one and remember Barer & Irving... Wonder what that means?
- Eva said to look in the drawer for more
- The last puzzle said Medical Microbiology. Could that have something to do with Barer & Irving?
- It was a book! But a note from it says Basement Room V?
- I've got to get into this room in the basement!
- Found a pile of notes in the doctor's handwriting. Could they hold answers?
- I'll need to take some of these things back to Eva, but let me solve what I can.
- What does 17:55 mean?
- Eva said to look in her drawer again for help
- I found some tools to help in Eva's drawer!
- "horizon 2009 malaria" and 17:55 must be related if Dr. Thompson's note said to watch a video.
- I'll check Box of Broadcasts. Maybe there's something at the 17:55 mark in the video that could be useful later.
- Artemisinin! That has to be what will save them!
- I need to find where the Artemisinin was stored!
- “Zombie” Outbreak Caused by the Synthetic Cannabinoid AMB-FUBINACA in New York by Adams, Axel J; Banister, Samuel D; Irizarry, Lisandro ; Trecki, Jordan; Schwartz, Michael; Gerona, Roy

You race up to the lab. You've never even seen the 9th floor of this building. You didn't know Cockcroft had a 9th floor! It must be because only staff and the serious pharmacy students — the Masters and PhD ones — are actually allowed here. You run through and find 917 and burst in to find it a mess, just like the rest of the building. The cupboards & shelves have been emptied out. But tucked away in a corner is a tiny fridge.
