Point to to point topology
Star Topology
Ring Topology
Mesh Topology
It is a type of topolgy that works on the functionality of the sender and the receiver.
It is the simplest communication between 2 nodes, in which one is the sender and the other is the receiver. This type of topology provides high bandwidth.
In Mesh Topology, every device is connected to another device via a particular channel.
The protocols used are AHCP (Ad Hoc Configuration Protocols), DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol), etc.
Conclusion
The type of topology used by a system of computers is heavily determined by the amount of devices that will build the system, which in turn depends on the tasks and procedures that will be performed by the sytem alongside the complexity of such.
In Star Topolgy, all the devices are connected to a single node through a cable. This hub is the central node and all the other nodes are connected to the central node.
It is formed of a ring of nodes in which each will have exactly 2 neighboring devices
It heavily relies on data savers with each node to prevent data loss because the information has to travel through all the nodes in between to reach its destination.
