Feelings & Emotions
Suggestions for use
This template will allow you to work on emotions with your students. To make the most of it in your classes, follow these instructions: 1. Start by introducing the emotions. In this template, there are six: surprise, sadness, embarrassment, fear, anger, and happiness. Here, you can explain to your students how an emotion is expressed and how to recognize it. 2. Then, it's time to practice with your students. The objective of this activity is for them to be able to identify the emotion explained previously and to volunteer to tell the class how the emotion that comes up when the die is rolled (e.g. sadness) is expressed. 3. Finally, your students should express how they are feeling in the moment. The idea is for them to put marbles in the box that best represents their emotion and explain why.
What are the six emotions?
Happiness
Fear
Embarrassment
It is important to recognize them. 1. First, use an abstract noun to describe each monster. 2. Then assign each adjective to one of the monsters.
Surprise
Sadness
Anger
Let's practice!
Click on the die and describe a situation that makes you feel that way

How would these situations make you feel?
Your about to be presented with different scenarios. Read them carefully and explain which emotions you would feel and why. And remember, the more you talk, the more joyful your teacher will be! . So... TALK!

And don't forget! It's essential to... 1. Talk about how you feel with other people. Find someone you trust and open up with them. Sometimes, when you talk it over, it doesn't seem as serious. 2. Set boundaries. Decide what you are and are not willing to do. Explain this assertively and positively. 3. Engage in activities that make you feel good. Spend time doing things that you love, such as working out, reading, listening to music or hanging out with your friends. These can help you feel more optimistic.
